GeoExchange systems, also known as geothermal or ground source heat pumps, use an electric heat pump to relocate solar heat stored in the ground for low-cost heating and cooling without burning fossil fuels.
A GeoExchange system uses an efficient system with multiple vertical boreholes and flow-loops installed in a closed-loop system to transfer heat between the ground and a building, allowing it to be used for both heating and cooling by reversing the system and using the ground as a heat sink.
GeoExchange systems are becoming more popular for reducing carbon emissions and optimizing energy costs for residential and commercial heating and cooling, and can reduce energy consumption by over 40%.
